About

An editorial guide to graphics cards.

picksbycard ranks GPUs the way a good magazine would: by what they actually do for the money, at the resolution you play at, on the power bill you pay.

What this is

A catalog of current and recent graphics cards, sorted into budget, 1440p, 4K, and local AI tiers, with comparisons, a will-it-run checker, a used-market guide, and the running cost of every card at your state's electricity rate.

How we rank

Rankings are editorial opinion built from publicly available specifications, published benchmarks, and street prices. Launch MSRPs are listed for historical reference; street prices change constantly, so always check the retailer before buying. No manufacturer or retailer pays to appear or to rank.

Independence and affiliate links

picksbycard is not affiliated with, authorized by, or endorsed by NVIDIA, AMD, Intel, or any retailer; product names are trademarks of their respective owners. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Some other outbound links are affiliate links that may earn us a commission at no extra cost to you. That income keeps the site running and does not decide what we recommend.

The network

picksbycard is part of Daily Picks Network, a family of independent buyer's guides. Issue No. 132, revised September 11, 2026.
