Most credit-card content is written by people who would never carry the card they recommend.
The category is broken in a specific way. Sites with thirty-thousand-word "best of" articles rank well on Google, get paid per approval, and quietly recommend the cards with the highest commissions. The reader gets a list, not a recommendation.
Each card on this site has a real take written by an editor who has used it, dug into the math, and decided whether to keep it in the wallet. The math is shown. The trade-offs are stated. When a card costs $325 a year, we say so before we say anything else.
