Local AI fit: 8B comfortably, 13B is tight. Rule of thumb for 4-bit quantized models; context length and other apps eat into the same memory.
Why you buy it
- 10GB beats the 8GB competition
- 150W, runs on any PSU
- Cheapest current card worth recommending
Why you hesitate
- B580 is barely more expensive and better
- Same resizable BAR requirement as its sibling
The editor's take
A competent 1080p card with 10GB, which beats every 8GB card in its class on memory. Its problem is family: the B580 is only $30 more at MSRP and clearly better. Buy the B570 when B580 stock dries up or its price drifts, which happens often enough that this card exists for a reason.
Who it's for: Strict-budget 1080p builders for whom every $30 matters and the B580 is out of stock or marked up.
