The two budget AI paths: used 24GB or new 16GB. The 3090 runs a whole class of models the 5060 Ti cannot fit, and that decides it for serious model tinkerers. The 5060 Ti counters with warranty, half the power draw, and better gaming. Size the decision by the models you want: under 14B, take the new card; 32B ambitions, take the used one.
